Americana artist Colton Kayser debuts new single "Love of My Life"

Over the years, Monmouth Beach, NJ-based singer-songwriter Colton Kayser has made a name for himself in the re-emerging Asbury Park scene with his talents shining on stages and shoreline boardwalks. Kayser now enters the Summer of 2016 with his most fully realized vision to date, Place to Settle.

The 10 song sophomore LP finds Kayser examining and growing through the trials and tribulations of an artist in flux. Life after Grad School, a first real break up and the after effects of Hurricane Sandy all combine to color the themes of love, loss and the search for inner serenity on Kayser’s latest full-length effort.

“There were a lot of variables to my life, and I was just trying to figure out how to find some peace somewhere,” shares Kayser. “I started finding my way, and the last song on the record (‘As Kids’) is an affirmation that I’ve been right where I belong from the beginning, and I’m doing what is right for me.”

Place to Settle was recorded at Lakehouse Recording Studios in Asbury Park, NJ and was mixed by Erik Kase Romero and mastered by Tim Panella. Acclaimed songwriter Glen Burtnik contributes backing vocals on "Bad Guy" and on "Easy Love".

Be on the look-out for more from Colton Kayser later this Spring/Summer.
