THE WEALTHY WEST ANNOUNCE JULY TOUR DATES

Singer-songwriter act The Wealthy West, aka Brandon Kinder of indie rock band The Rocketboys, will kick off a tour of the Midwest/Southeast in July in support of his recently released solo EP, Volume 1.

Currently heating up the blogosphere with tracks like “Love Is Not Enough,”  “Not A Pretty Pair” and “Home,” Kinder is establishing himself as one of the most exciting new singer-songwriter’s around through a swell of online grass-roots support.  “Employing a pensive demeanor and a forlorn timbre, Kinder delivers short, melancholic tunes with a powerful affect” (Knoxroad.com).

“Every song on Volume 1 is a home run, from the steadfast “Give Me Resurrection” to the forlorn “Home.” Its unrelenting quality and minimalist, down-home charm make the 5-song tour de force reminiscent of — and every bit as good as — The Avett Brothers’ Gleam EPs,” (OwlandBear.com).

“Labeling this an impressive first solo release is in fact an understatement,” (TheSoundAlarm.com).
